What is Runs?
Runs is a personal AI video editor for short-form creators. You train it on Reels, TikToks or YouTube Shorts you have already edited, and it learns your pacing, captions, sound and structure — then cuts new footage the way you would. You get an editable first version, not a locked render or a template.
Is there an AI video editor that learns my own editing style?
Yes — that is exactly what Runs does. Most AI editors apply what works for everyone. Runs reads a body of your finished edits, finds the decisions that repeat, and reproduces that editorial signature on new clips, so the first cut already looks like you.
Can Runs edit my Instagram Reels or TikToks for me?
Runs generates the first cut of a Reel, TikTok or Short from your raw footage, matched to how you normally edit. It is not a fully automatic viral-video generator — you stay the author. You export the editable timeline and finish it in whatever tool you already use.
How is Runs different from CapCut, Premiere or other AI video editors?
Tools like CapCut and Premiere are where you cut by hand; generic AI editors apply a one-size template. Runs sits before that step: it learns what is recognizably you from your past work and hands you a first cut in your own style, which you then refine in your usual editor.
Who is Runs for?
Content creators, Instagrammers, TikTokkers and video editors who cut their own short-form video and already have a body of finished edits. If your edits have a recognizable feel, Runs can read it and apply it to new footage.
Does Runs add music to my videos?
No — Runs delivers masters music-free so you add your own track. It focuses on the editing decisions: pacing, cuts, captions, sound levels and structure.
Is Runs the same as Runway?
No — they are different products. Runway is best known for generative AI and editing the content inside footage. Runs (at runs.video) does editorial assembly: it takes raw footage you already shot and arranges it into an editable first cut, using an editing profile learned from your own finished edits. Runs does not generate footage.
How do I get access to Runs?
Runs is in private early access. Creators with an existing body of edited work can apply from the homepage — leave an email for updates, and add an Instagram handle to be considered for the first testing group.
