Do I need editing experience to use Runs?
You need a body of finished edits — around five videos that feel like you. If you have never edited before, there is no signature to learn yet; Runs is not a from-scratch auto-editor. If your edits have a recognizable feel, Runs can read it and apply it to new footage.
Will my videos end up looking like everyone else's?
That is the failure mode Runs was built against. Generic AI editing applies what works on average; Runs applies what repeats in your own work. Measured on identical footage, two creators' profiles produce visibly different cuts — different shot counts, different pacing, different rhythm.
I edit for clients. Does that work?
Yes, if there is a body of finished work to learn from. Editors who cut short-form for a client can point Runs at that client's published edits and get a first pass that already matches the known style — then do the judgment work on top.
