Do I get a finished video or a first cut?
A first cut, on purpose. Runs does the assembly — selecting, ordering, trimming, captioning, levelling — and hands you a timeline that is editable from the first frame. You do the finishing, here or in the editor you already use. The point is to start from a cut that is already yours, not to publish without you.
What footage does it work with?
Footage you actually shot — Runs never generates synthetic video. The strongest proof today is short-form vertical work: the kind of raw clips that become Reels, TikToks and Shorts. If your videos are talking-to-camera stories, process videos or montages cut from your own material, that is the territory it was built in.
How is this different from a template?
A template remembers a structure and pours your clips into it — every video comes out shaped the same.
